Shower and Tub Installation, Replacement, and Repair

Tub/shower faucet repairs are a routine task that our licensed professionals perform on a regular basis. Whether your faucet was manufactured with brass seats, neoprene washers, and O-rings or the more recent ceramic cartridges, our plumbers are familiar with almost every brand. We will assess the quality and age of the faucet and determine if a long-lasting repair can be made or if faucet replacement is the best solution.

Shower pan replacement, performed correctly, will provide many years of worry-free service – even if your bathroom is located above the 1^st floor. Levy & Son will replace the existing drain assembly, install a concrete base that is pitched ¼” per foot from the perimeter walls to the weep holes of the drain assembly, place a felt liner on the concrete base, and finally install the 40 mil PVC pan material to extend up the perimeter walls and over the curb. A water test will be performed to ensure the integrity of the new installation.

Does water seep out from the base of your shower after each use? Levy & Son will perform the proper tests to determine if there is a leak on the riser pipe from the faucet (inside the wall) to the shower head or if the leak is from a defective  shower pan below the surface of the shower floor.
