Appliance Installation and Replacement

Dishwasher installations performed by a Levy and Son plumber as per manufactures specifications will assure maximum performance. They will be installed level, properly secured, and the drain line installed with air gap per city code and hot water securely connected with adequate flow along with a shut-off valve installed for service.

Icemaker installations performed by Levy and Son as per manufactures specifications with an adequate water supply line and separate shut off valve for service. Icemakers that require a gravity drain are not recommended but can be plumbed in with access below floor. If access is not possible, a pump system will be installed and discharged into a sink branch fitting if a sink is located next to machine. There are some icemakers available with pumps on equipment or have no drain required. Select your icemaker carefully.

Refrigerator icemaker connections are made using the best quality stainless steel.
Supply lines available are the old style reliable copper tubing. A quality separate shut off valve will be installed if existing is not in working order or does not exist.

Most “chefs” prefer to cook with natural gas. We install properly sized gas piping to your new gas cook top which will encourage your “chef” to prepare something delectable.

Water Filters – We furnish & install compact water filters for the sink and icemaker that eliminate chlorine, bad taste, and odor for just pennies per gallon.
